PREMIERE: Harvey Lush & His Orchestra, "Pink Flowers"

Who is Harvey Lush? No one seems to know. This man has appeared to hold the Brooklyn scene hostage with his unique blend of demented lounge music. Some of the city’s best talent has joined his unholy squadron, but they ain’t talking.

“Pink Flowers” is their latest single, and it’s a charming slice of mellow chamber pop. Harvey sings about how the (flowers grew tall / on the avenue), and it reminds us of those doomed New York relationships that we remember so fondly. It’s all anchored by the sugar dripping viola of Jenna Nelson.

What’s next for this saucy band of outlaws? A release show for their self-titled album!

Catch Harvey Lush & His Orchestra in their native element when they blow up Bushwick's Alphaville on June 14th!
