VILLINS - INTERVIEW
INDICATE: How did yall get together and start making music?
VILLINS: The way we came together was magical and amazing. Jesyka saw Jesus playing guitar with Lady Gaga on TV years before and had imagined having someone like him
to make music with. A few years after that, Jesus ended up producing an EP for a project Jesyka was working on and we began writing together. We literally couldn't stop writing music, dreaming up
crazy creative ideas, and staying up talking to each other all night... and so Villins was born 3:) The energy between us was so strong and so perfect.
INDICATE: What are some of the influences that contribute to your sound?
VILLINS: We draw inspiration from many different places, some of them musical, some of them not. One of our favorite sources for inspiration is watching old noir and
sci fi movies. We're into a pretty crazy range of music that may or may not actually contribute to our sound. When we're in NYC we don't listen to much other music other than what we're working
on or our friends, but one of our favorite ways to listen to music is DJ'ing songs while we're driving to the beach on a surf trip. A typical Villins surf trip playlist:

VILLINS: We have a new single coming out soon called 'Crime!'. We just finished shooting the album art for the song with our fave
photographer @LDOPhotography and have a special little video coming with the song. We're excited to continue releasing music for our Super Villins. We're also working out some other unique &
unusual Villins pop up appearances...
