HOT TRACK: The Sufis - "Made Me Leave/Crispy Grapes II"

No matter what you think about the sometimes questionably PC Burger Records catalogue, they never stop turning out the jams. The Sufis' new album, "After Hours", is full of the mellow 70s rock that the kids are into these days. The real chestnut is "Made Me Leave/Crispy Grapes II". It starts as a Zappa-esque progpsych stomper, complete with a "Life's Been Good"-style freakout. All this soon degenerates into vocals samples and tape noise in a strangely satisfying way. The only complaint here is the album doesn't have a "Crispy Grapes I". SOMEBODY FUCKED UP.
